Terms & Conditions
The fine print, kept short
Using the calculator means you agree to these terms. They’re written to be read.
Using the site
SourdoughRatio is a free tool for working out dough quantities. You may use it for personal or commercial baking. Please don’t misuse the site, try to break it, or use it in a way that harms others.
Results are a guide
The calculator does its math carefully, but baking depends on flour, temperature, timing and your own judgement. Treat results as a starting point and check them before you rely on them, especially when scaling for sale or for people with dietary needs.
Food safety and allergens
We give no food safety, nutrition or allergen advice. You are responsible for handling ingredients safely and for telling anyone you bake for about allergens such as gluten.
Your data
The numbers you enter are not saved. Each calculator starts from its default values every time you load it, so use “Copy recipe” to keep anything you want. Your theme and Simple or Advanced choice live only in your browser.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, SourdoughRatio and its owner are not liable for any loss, wasted ingredients, failed bakes or other damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ownership
The design, text and code of this site belong to its owner. The recipes you create are yours. You’re welcome to link to the site, but please don’t copy it and present it as your own.
Changes
We may update the site or these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
